So....round two of the super-poison has just commenced. This is the every three week one so I've got 3 days pencilled in for nausea and exhaustion (and I'm praying nothing more than that). Hopefully by Friday night I'll be back in the saddle. Steve went with me to sit there for 5 hours. Played a game of scrabble (he'll want me to inform everyone here that he won) and a couple games of 500 rummy. All in all a good day....the oncology nurses make it bearable. Can't say enough about them.
My hair is thinning. I'm getting way too much out in a brush or pick or just with my hands and I'm pretty sure I'm not making any more. Hopefully this hair loss thing is my last big hurdle---at least emotionally. It'll be a tough day but I've got lots of support from some pretty incredible people in my life. Thank God for them!!!! :-)

ReplyDeleteThe whole hair thing sucks...as if everything else wasn't bad enough, then there's that to deal with too. That really is a big hurdle, and my heart goes out to you!
I think about you every day! And so...2 down, and come February, it will be done! I really admire your strength, courage and amazing attitude!
